The social environment has an impact on goal-oriented motivation. When we are teaching, we have to be positive role modelss for children so as educators we should give self-direction, self-determination, and self regulation. Knowing how the brain function can have a great influence on how teachers address the emotional, social, cognitive and physical learning of students (Jensen, 1998). Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory identifies “interpersonal relations” (1979, p.22) as a key element in the context of human development. He also said the interrelations with the child primary environments (such as home and child care) have the most important influence on development. She has one son who name is Thomas Evans, who is five years old.Ebony was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She said growing up as a child they would get a warning and other times they would get whooping with a belt. She said her mother was strict at the age of seventeen she had to be in the house by 8:00 p.m (Evans, 2015). She is currently further her education by going to school for Early Childhood Education. She said when she is done she wants to be a Preschool teacher. She works at a daycare facility teaches an Infant classroom.Before she was a teacher assistance she was a CNA for ten years; she said being a CNA was very stressful and it was long hours so she decide to change her major. I asked her how she disciplines her child she “she used the same method as her mother because it worked and help her be a better person” (Evans, 2015). I asked Ebony how does she feel about her community she say “ it’s not safe like it used to be, there are more violent now than when she was growing up, she also stated that she doesn’t allow her son to go outside to play” (Evans,2015). Ebony work and go to school so she doesn’t make it home to about 9 o’ clock at night. Her mother is usually the one that feed her son she makes she provide a healthy meal and snack. When her son gets home from school he has a choice to decide what snack he gets which includes yogurts, apples, or bananas. When the …show more content…
She has four beautiful sons and she is happily married. Jessica husband is in the military and they have been married for four years now. She currently lives in Villa Grove, Illinois. A couple months ago, she lived in Great Lakes, Illinois. Her and her husband found out that he was being placed a new position for jobs, which is out of state in Virginia. So she decides to move closer to her side of the family.She just gave birth to a 6lb and 8oz baby boy on November 6, 2015 and her oldest child is twelve years old. She is currently unemployed right now, but she a stay at home mother. She said when she does work she tried to work about 20 hours a week so she can get out the house. She said she wants her children to have a better lifestyle than her she wants them to be able to grow up in a safe and caring environment. She said she has been living in Villa Grove, Illinois since she was younger, she said it is quiet and everybody knows everybody. I asked Jessica about the nutrition that she provides for her children she laugh she said “I don’t usually cook but my husband cook most of the time which is unhealthy food (Chandler, 2015). Jessica said her two year old son refuse to eat any vegetables so she does not force him to eat them. She said she does not eat vegetables herself unless it is in a recipe on a
