Normally the employees violate the anti-discriminatory law.
The federal government has been actively involved in preventing gender discrimination in the workplace. It was Civil Rights Act – 1964. Under title VII of that act which strictly prohibits all forms of discrimination on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex or national origin in all respect of employment.
It is stated it is unfair and unlawful if an employer fails to hire or refuse any individual on the basis of caste, colour, creed and sex.
It is unlawful even if he/she is denied compensation or privileges or employment for any of their reasons mentioned above.
