According to Marxists, there is an undeniable link between economic along with racial disparities and capitalism. Capitalism relies on racism as a means to divide and rule the population. Racism is used to cause distention among the laborers to keep them inline in order to prevent them rising up against the ruling class. By promoting inequality and racism, the ruling class prevents the laborers from uniting together.
