Introduction
The most important step in research on bullying would have to be the when the researcher questions the bullies or the victims. This can find out who is doing the bullying and why.
The next part would involve gaining deeper into the motivations and expected results for bullies. Victims are also interviewed to understand their coping mechanisms and the impact of bullying in their lives. The importance of face to face meetings is that they provide an opportunity to draw an accurate psychological profile of the both the bullies and the victims. The data collected at this point will become vital in later stages of the research process.
Relation of Bullying to Agents of Socialization
With these socialization circles being where most people spend a large chunk of their lives, it is therefore not surprising that these are the places with the highest incidences of bullying. In instances when not enough attention paid to their plight, victims have been known to commit even suicide in a bid to escape the bullying (Hile, 2013).
