If you look into our state (Colorado) and only our state, you will see that our school system is still segregated. I’m not talk about race or by ethnicity but by class. The upper class has the better school district with the best teacher teaching their children and the students moving on to college. While the school in the lower and working class will be provided with a teacher who don’t want to teach in their area and will be paid less. The lower and middle class is also provided with less school material and less equipment to teach their student/ children making it difficult to teach. Making it more problematic give the teacher and the students less of a chance to succeed. So yes, this not only affected me, but others people in my community as well as our kid’s
