Social Cliques: A Modern Day Crisis

“Within each such social group,a feeling of solidarity prevails,a compelling need to work together and a joy in doing so that represent a high moral value.”-Christian Lous Lange.This quote applies to social cliques,which is becoming a modern day crisis because of all the serious problems they cause.Cliques are a group of friends who interact with each other and who also have shared likings and other suggestions in common. Cliques play a big factor in the society we live in today.Their are many reasons why cliques are formed.According to source 1,”Cliques are small, exclusive groups of friends who share common interest(music,dress,sport,etc.)”(Mandel par.7).”This retells the topic of cliques by defining the meaning of cliques and giving examples that help get a better understanding of the definition.Many amateurs as they grow up undergo many Socio-emotional, cognitive , and biological changes.This confirms that in young adult life a variety of children …show more content…
1).This confirms that young adults come to a series of obstacles that come with the outcome of getting older.Cliques become more prominent and critical during high school and middle school and begin to stop by grades 11-12.This shows that cliques eventually stop by certain grades but usually dont stop during middle school and some grades in high school. Derogatory .These words describe the emotions that kids feel when they’re being left out.Social cliques have made many marks on our society and will make marks on our future if we don’t help put a stop to social
