SE Hinton's book The Outsiders it describes two different social classes affecting one of them the greasers. The Outsiders takes place on the Eastside of Oklahoma and the characters are in a gang or group of boys that are rivals with another group called the Socs. The setting affect the characters by the people there around and living with. First off, when the people that they're around is mean or cruel to them they will react in different ways.
