I did not have the drivers or the personal maids like in the Philippines, but I did not worry about getting my house robbed at gun point or car jacked like I did in the Philippines. I have decided that being upper-middle class in the United States is better in the long run then being wealthy in the Philippines. Most people in their lifetime will stay in the class they began with and will never move out of that specific class. I currently would put myself in the middle class and believe that unless I win the lotto I will always recognize with this specific group. Being middle class does not mean that I do not spend money or leave a nice lifestyle it just means I will never have a butler or a maid. The difference between middle class and upper class is not as big as you would think and to live comfortably here in the United States you do not notice the difference as much as you would in the
