“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others” (Orwell 118). In Orwell’s Animal Farm, there is a recurring theme of social class disparity in the way the animals are treated on the farm. The life of the animals with Mr. Jones shows that the animals have a definite leader who mistreats the animals on a regular basis; after Mr.Jones the animals are under the impression of being equal to each other but in reality are not, and towards the end the animals are starting to realize that they may not be as equal as they seem to think they were.
