The purpose of this study was for the researcher to solicit the views of the undergraduate students on their awareness of social class identity and the students experience with class inequalities at the institutional level. It also focused on the student understanding of their social identity. The researchers find out challenging the notion students had about what social identity means; it impacts of socialization on one’s social identity group and the way some people benefited from it while others social identity are targeted.

I learned that students experience social class at personal and interpersonal level are that, some social identities were targeted and others also experience stereotyping as results of their faith and social identity. My view on the concepts of social class is we all have different experiences when it comes to the identification of our social class in the society. There are people who privileged or belong to the privilege group in the society and they don’t even seem to know that they are in the privilege group. Some also see only their oppression but don’t recognize their privileges. I finally came to the realization that we cannot talk about privilege in our society without talking about oppression.
