Social class still matters to America
Social class refers to divisions in society based on the money you make, the economy and social status. People who in the same social class typically have the same level of wealth, education, achievement, type of job and income. The American is an open society and social class is still a matter to American today. Social class matters in almost every type of social situation today because it defines who you are in life, how other people treat you, and it also determines whom you hang out with, which school you go to, the type of health condition you are in, and the type of environment you are growing up in. Overall, social class is everything about you.

No one ever told you that there is no way to get out of the lower class. Education is not the only way to climb up the social class ladder, but it is the easiest and quickest way to get out of the lower class. All you need to do is working hard and dedicating yourself in school. Lawrence H. Summers is the one who realized this back in 2004 when he stated that education to find a better life and also to move up in life. “And education is the most powerful weapon have to address that problem,” said by H. Summers (pg 89). Education is a real weapon in the real world today because education can help you in many ways. For instance, it helps people fight for their rights. If people go to school they will know how to read, communicate, and that they speak against problems that are injustice in society. Education is used as a key to climb the economic ladder, and to get the respect as the people in higher class. In this society, not everyone gets the same opportunities and they do not get to climb the same ladder because everyone has their own ability . You can move up, but it is difficult. Though if you try hard, it will still be possible. I personally believe that education is a huge factor in a person’s life. I also think that the more wealth one has the more opportunities one has at their disposal. However, everybody has the opportunity to be wealthy and to achieve anything they want if they use their inner great powers.I truly believe that the choices we make will determine our own opportunities which in reality will affect our own lifestyle. In society, some people label others to make them more superior, to me that is how life has been but we shall need to change these kind of stereotypes. Everyone should help each other so we can all grow up together and be successful in life.. I wish people could just see another human as what they stand for, but not the material
