There's a lot of changes that occurred during those 100 years. The change in population started increasing due immigration and slaves, jumping from 2 million in 1770 to 38 million in 1870. The change in industry, where factories were being opened up all over the country. The changes in transportation, including roads, railways and waterways. During these years a lot of social changes came as well. For example, when the people all over the country started to stand up against slavery and inequality. When women started to stand up for themselves and fight for equality and their rights as a person. All races were trying to make progress. Then came the American Civil War from 1861 – 1865. Due to this war, changes were made in the constitution.
