The American Revolution was a radical movement that had not left anything untouched, and both the economy and social class structure were changed dramatically during and after the Revolution. Before the American Revolution, the upper classes were completely dominated by the people who were born into wealth, whereas after the Revolution, there was a change in the way the classes worked.
