Working in healthcare is something I’ve wanted to do since I was in highschool. I’ve had many setbacks to making my dream a reality including dropping out of college for a year as well as not having the confidence to be successful in the program. Two years ago I would not have been mentally prepared for the nursing program. My work experience as well as my personal life have groomed me for what’s next. Seeing my mother pursue her passion of being a social worker later in life inspired me to follow my own dream. Having her encouragement has lead me to writing this application.
