Soccerball: The First Basketball

The game was created in December of 1891 to keep young kids in shape over the winter months. The first basketball was more like a soccerball. The game is good at doing that even with the coaches today. Most of the coaches push their kids to the extreme making them run until they throw up. Some coaches are nice and give you free days off. But at the end of the day the game is just for fun. The game is played when two teams of five face of on a rectangular court usually made of wood.The goal you play on is usually ten foot tall and the rim is usually 18-inches wide.
