I have always enjoyed playing soccer growing up, therefore, I decided to join a soccer practice class to improve my skills. On my first day, I immediately noticed that the kids in the class were way better at soccer than me. The class taught special techniques that I had not even heard of and I began to think that I could never be as good as the other kids. Even though I had a hard time at first, I practiced by myself everyday and I eventually mastered every technique. Competition is extremely important in school because, it pushes kids to learn more and teaches kids valuable life lessons.
