“Danny, Danny wake up, time to start packing!” yelped Mom. “What, we’re packing today?” I yelled back. “Yes Danny” Mom Replied. As I got dressed thinking about moving to America, I remembered that I had my soccer championship on Saturday. This is going to be the 6th time I have been to a championship. I ran downstairs to tell my Mom that I had my soccer championship. She said that we were moving on Friday and that I was going to miss the soccer match. “No no no no....” I shrieked to myself. “Please mom can we stay until next week?” I couldn't understand how mom could be so insensitive. I slept through most of it, though. Thirteen hours later, we dismounted at our new home. It was bigger than our old house and I loved it. I couldn't believe it. It was as if my concerns just vanished. As we were driving through the street I saw a park a few blocks away from my new home it was filled with kids playing soccer. There was an enormous soccer field and I knew that it was going to be fun. I was eager to go play but, my mother had asked me unpack my boxes first. The new kids all were kind and friendly. Even though I was tired from the trip, I tried to play for as long as possible. When I went home, I told my parent what had happened and about all the new friends I made. A month later, after moving I went to my new school, it was really big it was 3 levels plus a full size basement. I can probably make it a man cave for my friends and I. But the best part of all of this I joined the school’s soccer team and a travel team. This was much better than my old home. I can’t believe that there are so much nice people and they all welcomed me to America. My neighbor was the nicest person ever and his son Mike was my new best friend. All this time I thought about what Grandpa had said. I thought about our crazy encounter. I thought about how he was a hero for me and many others. His advice was worth gold and they were very precious to me. His advice really helped me a lot and I will hopefully see him again. I guess he was right after all and that all my concerns were nothing compared to what he had been through. I hope he is ok and I knew, thanks to him, everything was going to be
