Soccer: My Narrative: Soccer Is A Way Of Life

Soccer or perhaps football is not just any sport; it is a way of life. I first started playing soccer when I was six years old back where come from, Bahrain. In Bahrain, soccer is the number one sport as it’s the most watched and the most played. So, the question that if I will continue to participate in playing soccer is defiantly, and without any hesitation, a yes. I play soccer because it is my favorite hobby and it has the greatest form of sportsmanship and teamwork. Soccer is a sport that is cheap to play and can be played almost everywhere. There are times that I wish there is more competition rather than just free-play that ultimately leads to a mismatch. I enjoyed learning new techniques like doing the splits as well as learning how to shield the ball the proper way. Moreover, I enjoyed playing with people who are dedicated in learning to play the game and that put in 100% effort in doing so. This semester has been good in terms of getting my stamina back to play because it was horrible after coming back from summer break. If there is one thing that I wish that I had learned in this class, it would be learning how to be a proper goalkeeper as well as having to compete with my classmates in challenges like hitting the crossbar or scoring from a distant. In addition, it would’ve been ideal if we had a mini tournament that requires us to compete not only in scoring goals but also in having a record of top points earned in all new learning techniques. I had a good experience and learned how to properly shield the ball, which was one of my biggest weaknesses. On that note, I feel that the class has been good and getting to play with my classmates is
