Why Soccer Is Important To Me

I have been playing soccer since I was three years old, and throughout the years I have learned all the basics that need to be known about soccer. I have been practicing my skills in order to become good at what I do. I can honestly say that I have become really good at what I do. Soccer is not just a sport to me; it is a sport I have been playing for years, a sport I grew up playing with close friends, a sport where not only boys could play but girls could play as well and sometimes girls and boys could be part of a team, and most of all soccer was a sport where I could be aggressive and relieve all my anger and stress that I carried inside. Soccer may have its difficulties and dangers, but it also has its rewards and that is what I love about it. …show more content…
Yes, all you pretty much do is kick the ball around. But you need to know where to kick it, how to kick, who to kick it to, how much strength to apply to your leg when you kick the ball, be precise and accurate when you kick, and most of all make sure nobody from the opposing team is blocking your kick or is about to attack you. “How do you know this?” people may ask. It is not that hard to learn, but I know this due to practice and training with the help of my past and present
