Scoring a goal as in, getting the ball inside the opponents net using anything but hands. One could use their head, knee, chest, thigh, foot, face, and many more and what is used could affect if it is made or not. What some people may not know are the other factors that increase or decrease their probability of missing or making a shot. Factors such as the angle of the shot, the players ability, the climate, the method of the kick, and more. Although all these factors have a big impact, we choose the three thought to make the biggest difference, angle of the shot, defender or not, and the players ability.

the number of players that occupy a certain area of the field during a shot are a factor that is variable, but definitely impacts the success rate. In some research, it is said that the greater the angle of a shot, the more open area of the goal the player has to aim at based on geometry. Depending on how many defenders are present at the time, it is assumed that the wider angle shot is more favorable because it increases the area in which a defender has to cover in order to deflect the shot. In the experiments assumption, that is just the opposite. This experiment is assuming that the more straight on the shot is, the better the chance of success. it is the hope that this experiment will confirm either way which is the most optimal
