Soccer is the most difficult sport to play on earth. It is 90 minutes of complete skill attempting to move the ball up the field past 11 players with the intent to stop the ball. The fitness and athleticism of a soccer player is important in a match, usually the team with the most endurance and stamina wins (Stevens 1). The 2014 World Cup had 100 players who averaged running more than 6 miles per match. Undoubtedly, Soccer is the most passionate sport with more emotion and mental science involved in it. Coach Eric Stevens believes, “With such passion off the field, comes an added element of intrigue and excitement in the game itself” about the fans of a world cup event (Stevens 1).
