Nobody is perfect Raheem is a poor kid when it comes to a relationship. If he sees a girl and likes her, he has to treat her with respect and not play around with her feelings. He also shouldn’t kiss other girls that are not his girlfriend. He needs to be respectful to other girls, and stop cheating on them for other girls. Every time a girl passes by Raheem, he scratches his nose and his eyes follow the girl that pass beside him and his girlfriend is in front of him. We males have to have a pleasant relationship. In “so I ain’t no good girl”, Raheem has a girlfriend and he constantly notices at girls passing by him and he cheats on her.
In “so I ain’t no good girl”, Raheem is not a gentleman to his own girlfriends, and notice at other girls passing by him, and he also cheats on her. “He takes off his shades and eyes a girl passing by.” The text also says, “But I hate’em just the same, mostly because that girl with red hair and gray eyes looks like the girl Raheem once left me for.” Last but not least, “She stole my man right from under me for a little while, anyhow.” Raheem constantly brings sunglasses and every time a girl passes by him he takes them off, and notices the girls. The way that the author, Sharon Flake, develops Raheem in the story shows how ugly of a person he is because Raheem is a jerk with his girls. Raheem can’t be in a relationship because he’s going to end up breaking his girlfriend’s heart. If the author would have written Raheem as a nice and loyal guy the story would have been much better.
