Three years ago was one of the biggest snowstorms Atlanta has ever seen. This was a very traumatic experience for many people. At first it was for me, too. Atlanta received about 3 inches of snow. This is ranked under top 20 snowstorms Atlanta has ever had.
I was at the Swift school in Roswell,Georgia. We were just headed back from a freezing cold recess when a classmate told us to look out the window. There was a few white snowflakes falling to the round. The entire class was super excited about the snow. The kids keep saying it won't stick to the ground so don't get it excited. The teachers told us to pack up our things and get ready to go. Since there was a chance of ice on the road traffic was very slow. Me and all of the students had to sit in a classroom for about 2 hours! Finally, my mom arrived and we headed home.

The roads were a standstill. We spent more than 5 hour getting home from a drive that usually takes about 15 minutes.We saw people abandoning their cars in the middle of the road making traffic even worse. Also, we don't have anything to eat or drink. After, a long day we started getting closer to home. We live back to back to a friend of ours so we parked our car in her driveway and walked to our house. If we didn't we most likely would have sat in the car for another hour. When we returned home I was so excited because a chocolate aroma filled the air. My dad had made us hot chocolate and s'mores. That night my whole family sat around our warm fireplace, drank our hot chocolate and used a fuzzy warm
