Finally, the data collection and sampling approach may have a potential flaw. There is also a chance that mariachi performers, aficionados, and gatekeepers may service potential leads for instructors willing to participate after they are interviewed. However, in the event that snowball sampling has not led to enough instructors for interview other means of respondent collection must be considered.
There is a private academy on the northwest side of San Antonio that is within a close proximity to where the researcher currently resides. They will be contacted for potential participation, if necessary. If this cannot be accomplished, if the instructor or instructors at this academy refuse to participate, a cultural arts center will be the second potential site to utilize.
