When then she heard a few people yelling, “ Help us were lost”. Then Betsy put on her coat, then ran outside to find three hunter struggling to walk. She invited them in quickly. She set them down by the fire and asked what they were doing in this weather. They said “We were out hunting for our families then we got lost in the snow storm”. Betsy poured them all a cup of coffee and told them that they would help find her husband she would let them spend the night there.
So the next morning they went on the trip. They went a while until they got to a barbed wire fence. On the other side were a couple of cows. They decided they were going to cross. The other 4 kids whith them. Betsy decided it was time to take a break. The found an old dugout.
