The sight of snow excites most everyone and playing in the snow can be fun and dangerous. Just ask eighth grader Delandra Ofosuhene.
“I lost my dog in the snow, it was the scariest thing, I was walking him and he was playing, when he didn’t come back, I got really scared, but eventually he came back;

FCPS students can be very convincing when it comes to not having school and everyone can agree. Think back to January 6th, yes January.That one day where everyone was either on their phone or complaining about how dangerous it was on the streets. That as most students referred back to, “will never be forgotten.” As some students would say snow days are necessary, to keep students safe from the slick roads.
“I think snow days are necessary because we shouldn’t want to put everyone at risk to drive on dangerous roads to get to school,” says eighth grader Gracie Vallejos.
