Snoopy And His Collar Touched: A Case Study

Improved Essays
Today I want to teach Snoopy that its ok to have his collar touched. So my goal here is to be able to touch his collar without him getting upset or distracted. I am going to use his favourite treat (preferably a high-value treat) which for Snoopy is cheese. Then I will start by touching his collar. Each time my hand touches his collar, I will treat him.

Once Snoopy has this, I will be able to start involving games, like having a small run and then grabbing his collar before treating him. Snoopy likes the game "hide and seek", so I could even play hide and seek, with him and once I seek him, I can then grab his collar and treat

I feel the introduction in the beginning of the book could have been setup better than it was. The characters are very intriguing from their names to their different personalities.…
