Snhu 107 Critical Elements Of The Rubric

Improved Essays
Each class has different grading scales for each assignment, known as the rubric, as students this is one of the lifelines for success in class. For the short paper in SNHU 107, the critical elements of our rubric include; Initial motivation, continued motivations, motivation plan, and writing mechanics. Each elements will be counted as so many points and then all for will be added for an overall grade.
I believe that element that will give me the most trouble will be the initial motivation. It is difficult for me to come up with the correct start. Trying to come up with a way to draw in the reader, plus making sure I hit all the points I need to give the reader an ideal what the paper is about, is just harder than I excepted.

Observation Report: Writing Assignment The writing assignment that I observed was a literary analysis that describes the theme of “The Cask of Amontillado” through his display of the main character’s motives. The students were instructed to provide specific examples from the text, as well as clear reasoning that explains and connects their evidence to their response. The day that I was there to observe the class the mentor teacher was finishing the unit by having the students write a five paragraph essay using a worksheet packet that they had been working on for the past several days.…

The process that I went through to get though the writing essay .And to really digest what the author was trying to covey I had to pay particular attention to the introduction paragraphs to locate this information. Figure out what clues did the writer leave throughout the paper to get his point across. Do these provide what the content and writer’s purpose is? Most people write a free write to start off their paper; just to get their mind going but that doesn 't work for me. I have to visualize things to get my mind going, this method works more than people think it does. I like to draw a Chart, Outline, or even a diagram about my topic for me to write anything first. I just can 't start writing, its more of mental issue. I like to have things in order for me to start.…

Most people have felt the desire to write a book or had the idea for one, but have never actually gotten around to doing it because they feel they can’t begin such a huge project. They don’t have any clue where to start. Writing a book is by no means an easy task, but anyone can do it. A book is, at its very core, a simple idea that eventually blossoms into a story. They don’t have to be dozens of chapters long and have intricate twists lurking around every corner, but they should have a beginning, a buildup, a climax, and a resolution.…

I currently live in a small beach town right outside of Jupiter, Florida known as Hobe Sound. It’s a “drive by town” as I would describe it. There really isn’t anything there would attract or gravitate people to stay there; its better to just look at it out a car window well passing it. It is currently about six hours outside of Tallahassee, Florida. This seems really long, but originally I signed to go to University of Mississippi and later realized that being more than ten hours away from home was to much for me.…

Where the Domino Fell is a book by James S. Olson and Randy Roberts, it speaks on the history of the Vietnam War, which happened from 1945-1995. This war involved the North Vietnam and South Vietnam after the World War II ended. A war that the Vietnam needed a new system apart from that of the French colonial government, which created so much discomfort, from the way they treated people. Hence, a revolution was necessary to them, to make a change and making things better. My aim in this paper is to bring out a general view and opinion of the book, as well as look into Vietnam War, and what went wrong with it.…
