I came with a pair of nike foamposites and some money. The whole ride to the building in Chicago, where sneakercon is taking place, i was wondering what the people there were going to look like and how old they will be. When we arrive, we see people walking down the street with boxes of shoes, we knew we were in the right area. When we park our car we have to walk to the building. We see a long line of people waiting to get into sneakercon. There is tables full of shoes and so many people walking around. Near the roof there are these HUGE balloons that say sneakercon all over them,I stare for a couple seconds before i'm almost knocked over by all the people.Most of the people in there are grown men! Then I see all the shoes on the table as I stop in awe. All these shoes that are worth so much and are so hard to find. My brother didn't seem too excited to see all the shoes, but it turns out I was amiss. As my dad, brother and I walk around, we see a pair of shoes that are worth 32,000 dollars! As we pass a table I start naming off every shoe I know, and my brother gets mad at me because he already knows.I try to hold back a grin and I start to bounce up and down as I see more and more shoes. But I still felt exhilarated that I could name all the shoes on the table.Through all of sneakercon I was so loquacious, my Father and my Brother were probably annoyed.As i'm walking around I see people looking at my shoes, but no one has tried to buy them. I don't lose hope though I ask some of the people who own booths if they are willing to buy or trade for my shoes. Some say yes, but I decide to keep what I have rather than get money to just buy another pair of shoes.
