What is the one thing that peaks your interest the most? My interest happens to be sneakers. Sneakers are trending today. From Kanye West to Michael Jordan to even suburban kids like me, sneakers are the biggest thing But, as you might know, one of the major problems of sneaker collecting is how dirty they become. So, the question is, how do you keep sneakers looking good? If you love your sneakers as much as I do, I can tell you how to make your sneakers look great.
For this task you cannot just use water and a towel. You need certain tools for certain types of materials. To clean most sneakers you will need the following: water, soap, Crep Protect (a specialized sneaker cleaner), and an old rag. You might use any or all of these tools, depending on the sneaker surface. The most I spend on the needed materials is ten dollars. These materials are effective and do not cost much.
Let us use the Nike Air Max 90’s as our example. Personally this is one of my favorite sneakers, but they are a hassle to clean. Using the materials above I discovered a way to make these sneakers look great again. The one unique detail about this shoe is its grey suede. These parts are simpler to clean mainly because of the material. Let’s start with the bottom of the shoe which is made out of rubber. First, you must apply soap to either a nail brush or toothbrush and scrub until clean. Next, the rubber on the side can also be cleaned using the same method used for the sole. Remember not to touch the suede when doing the rest of the shoe. You might ask what kind of soap I use. The soap that I have been using has been Dove soap and it has been effective but I am sure that any other white bar soap will
