SNC was a little disorganized and came off as unconfident in his brief. He did not brief Admin & Logistics or Command & Signal. Additionally, he did not assign tasks to his team during the execution portion of the order; it was done ad hoc once they approached the obstacle. SNC did not move his team with a sense of urgency. He did not show command presence and took a long time making decisions, which resulted in his team taking charge. SNC did not communicate with his team in a way that provoked a sense of urgency or purpose; he was not assertive, but rather his communication was inquisitive, asking questions like “Can you hold the rope with one hand and start sliding it?” throughout execution.
