The virtual community is made up of countless digital identities, but each one is unique to a person and is formed through various ways. For Snapchat users, digital identity is formed through quantitative aspects such as the network of connections that are tracked in the app and visual aspects such as the videos and photos that users send/post that showcase themselves. In this day, many of us live in the digital world in addition to living outside of it, so digital identities make up a portion of our whole identities.
