Identify Target Behavior
My social media usage is the behavior that I want to modify. I have noticed that in the past few months I’ve been overusing my social media specially “Snapchat.” I feel like I’m addicted to Snapchat which is a bad thing because it takes away from me a lot of time the I could invest in other productive things. Snapchat has become so addicted in my life that I feel the need to post every little moment of my life on Snapchat, also I’m always distracted on my phone because of that.
Baseline Data
I observed my Snapchat usage over five days. I started on Monday and finished on Friday, Monday and Tuesday where my most difficult days for the reason that I felt like I couldn’t quit Snapchat. Using Snapchat took away studying

Design a Program
Not using my phone during school time.
Not hanging out too much with my friends in school.
Going on my Snapchat only for 10 minutes after I’m done with everything for the day When I get home from school I would do all the chores, do my school work, eat dinner and take a bath. After I’m done with all of that I can go on my snapchat for only 10 minutes.
Results
As a result of my behavior modification I’m very proud of myself because after five days without using snapchat I realize that I’m able to live without it. I was really addicted to Snapchat but now I learned how to control myself. At the beginning it wasn't easy and seeing my friends using their Snapchat made me want to use mine too, and that was the reason why I had to stop hanging out with them for 5 days.
Now I notice how much time I was wasting on Snapchat doing anything, just showing others my private life and things that they probably don’t even care about. Sometimes we as human beings don't realize how much and how bad we waste our time on things that are not worthy. This project has taught me a lesson on how to manage my time and not waste it on irrelevant things that are not worth
