Snapchat is the most popular app out right now. I use Snapchat because it’s fast acting. What I mean by fast acting is, you can capture whatever is in the moment. The app allows the sender to draw or insert text on the snap and determines how many seconds (1 to 10). Snapchat is actually fun to me because you can doo the face filters. Face filters are things that change your look to something funny or effects to make you pretty. After you take a snap, swipe right or left on the preview screen to add colored filters, the current time, local weather, speed overlays or geofilters to your snaps. Omg, Also they have Bitmoji. Bitmoji is little characters of yourself and you can make them look just like you and change their cute little clothes. If you and a friend have both set up bitmoji in Snapchat, you’ll see ‘’friendmojis’’ that include both of you when you send them a chat or reply to their snap. That is my favorite part because it’s like a little minnie me of you. …show more content…

Snapchat (SNAP) messaging app is making headlines, as it gets closer to its scheduled IPO in March, valued between 20 and 25 billion dollars. Creators Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy will make up the Board of Directors with 70% control of voting power, despite only owning 45% of the stock. Super-voting is nothing new, usually it is diluted over time as new shares are issued but, SNAP would not change its voting structure, giving common stock owners no voting rights and no voting power with shares purchased in SNAP IPO.
