Which social media sources do you use? Please list all of your social media sites. Which ones do you use the most and why? How much time do you think you spend per day checking in to these sites?
The social media sources that I use is snapchat and instagram. I currently use snapchat the most. The reason I use snapchat the most is because I am only friends with family, and friends on there and with instagram I am friends with family, friends, and people I personally I do not know. I also love that how snapchat let you see who have viewed your picture or video. In regards to relationships and stress, what negative effects has using social media had on you personally? Please explain, be specific and provide examples.
A negative effect that using social media is sometimes people can be too nosey. For example, I had my location on sometimes and forget to take it off, I had people contact me just to ask me what I was doing at a certain location. When I asked how did they know I was there they said through snapchat. I actually do not like the fact that social media can tell where you are because what if I did not know some people on my snapchat, and they went to a place I was at just because I was there? I feel it is creepy.

A positive effect that using social media have on me is that I get to keep up with people I do not see much. For example, I am not always able to go out and see my cousins and friends, and by following them on social media I get to see some things that have been going on in their life. One of my cousins just went to prom yesterday and I was not able to make it, I was able to see most of it through social media.
