At my first job at BSU, my new co-worker was covered in elaborate tattoos. I made a snap judgement that she would be very modern and brass person and I was intimidated. After getting to know her, she was a great person with very high standards. We had so much fun at work because of her; she always had a funny story. If I had gone with my first impression we would not have married today. He drove very fast and I was a frazzled by the time we got to the movies. He was nervous and was bragging about his job and his that his dad was the Mayor of Daleville. We went and saw the movie “Grand Canyon” it was a very sporadic movie. Neither of us liked it, and we both thought the other one did. We had nothing to talk about on the way home it was very awkward. I had no intentions of seeing him again. Until he called me 2 days later and we talked on the phone for hours. I told him that I was not interested in him, but I could be his friend. I saw him every day from then on. The rest is history.
When I was a kid I thought everyone’s family life was like mine until I met Penny. Penny was from Thailand and we became best friend in junior high school. It was a eye-opening experience for me the first time I went to her house. The whole environment was different. The food they ate was different. We were able respect each other differences and we had a great time together, she was an artist
