lt is not a negative symbol I just do not like snakes although they do have smooth skin it is just not something I like to come in contact with. snakes are slimy and can be dangerous if they think they have be most are very posionious and can kill you in a short amount of time. Snakes slither on the ground they do not have legs so they can not get up and move around they do move fast though they can hide very well and are very quite until you walk up on them. In the greek myth Zeus in order to escape Cronos he changed into a serpent to escape, in Norse odin disguised himself as a snake, the sun god the serpent was used in the Egyptian in nearly everything. to me the snake was not bad but it just creeps me out so that is the reason I do not like the snake. Snakes like warm climates so they can stay out to see and move around they do not like the cold however there has been a time or two that I have seen them out trying to find somewhere to hide for the winter. a snake does not have a warm coat so it is much harder for them to stay warm. many people of today's cultures have snakes as pets they keep in there home. many people are afraid of snakes and they freak out when they see them
