Snack Shack Business Report

Snack Shack Business Report Snack Shack was a lot of fun! Since the summer of 2015, I was planning what to do for Snack Shack. When we figured out our partners, I talked to Aleah about doing Root Beer Floats and Popcorn. During the Snack Shack lottery, both of those things were taken before our number was called. We ended up with lemonade and soft pretzels. I wasn’t that happy about it because I had already started to plan for Root Beer Floats and Popcorn. So, I started over and started to count the costs. It took about an hour to get a general list of all that we needed to get, and then we went to work. I got all of the decorations which included tablecloths, flowers, vases, and marbles. I did all the work on the posters except for a small coloring section at the top of one poster. I also bought plates and napkins from my parents. Aleah went out and got the pretzels, lemonade, cheese, cups, butter, and change. The morning of Snack Shack, Aleah and I arrived at 7:30 to start setting up our booth. If we had a separator, it would have been easier to get people’s change back faster. It would’ve been easier to count the money in the end as well. Another thing we needed to improve upon would probably be to have another microwave. We did request two, but we didn’t end up getting two. That made it harder for us to keep the line moving and a few people left as a result. A third improvement that I would’ve made would be to lower the price of the lemonade. A little girl came up to me and asked it fifty cents was enough for lemonade. I really wanted to say yes, but if I said yes to her I would have to say yes to everyone. So I really would’ve wanted to make that
