Smooth Transition to City Form of Government To ensure that our transition to the new form of government is smooth, I will follow the Charter recommendations and will consult the work of the bylaw review committee. I will examine the existing master plan and guide the drafting of a new long-range strategic master plan. We will create formal neighborhood associations and will hire a Director of Neighborhood Services. To ensure wide participation and transparency, we will hold quarterly “City-Wide Conversations” so that you can keep your Mayor in check. We will improve the ways we serve you – in person at City Hall and how you contact us to report issues in the community. Together, we will build the foundation of a city government of integrity

I have been with Simcity4 for a period of one year and it is unbelievable how fast time goes by especially when you are trying to accomplish the people’s business. It is my pleasure to report to you that my team and I have been engaged at all levels with city leaders and community members in an effort to move this city forward in a positive way. One obvious thing that I have noticed in the past one year is that this city has seen a sharp increase in its population growth. Some of the growth can be attributed to the fact that the city has a lot of employment opportunities and a very low crime rate as compared to other cities of our size. Within the past year, the city saw an increase of eight thousand people in its population.…

Even though bureaucracy and red tape are overwhelming the accumulation of federal, state, and local mandates make working with the government difficult, government branches should work together more efficiently in order to accomplish societies goals , Intergovernmental relations is federalism in action, here is a system that can be classified as duplication and overlap, intergovernmental relations should be taken more seriously to avoid creating distrust and tension among the government and the citizens because Federalism has, to a large extent, translated questions of policy into questions of law and relied upon the courts for their resolution and a key element of federalism is the principle of Separation of…

These “evils” include disunity within the state, citizens and politicians acting in self-interest, and tyranny. The ideal city, like the soul, would be split into three classes: the appetitive portion, the spirited portion, and finally the rational portion. Like the parts of the soul, when these classes don’t work to sustain each other, the city will suffer disunity. Although each class may want to act in self-interest the fact is that they all rely on each other to exist and without functional unity between them, there can be no justice. Again, self interest in the modern city leads to tyranny.…

The Transitions Theory, a middle range theory, will be used as a guide throughout the DNP project. The Transitions Theory, as cited in McEwen and Wills (2014), began with the recognition of the “experiences that humans face as they deal with changes relating to health, well-being, and their ability to care for themselves.” McEwen and Wills (2014) continued to emphasize the interaction between the nurse and patients in this process and the role of the nurse in developing health promotion and therapeutic interventions to assist in the experiences. Just as in young adults transitioning from pediatric to adult primary care, the providers will assist in the transitional process to initiate and guide the process. The theory recognizes three main…
