Over the past few years, the number of smokers around the world is constantly increasing. Even though people are aware of how unhealthy smoking can be, and what it can cause to their hearts and lungs, they still prefer to smoke. Today, smoking is a trend like a social media, and particularly among the teens. Although smoking makes an individual feel relaxed, at the same time it harms the body of the smokers in the long run. People have known that smoking can kill them from past 50-60 years, and according to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are an estimated 1.3 billion smokers worldwide. This figure is anticipated to increase to 1.7 billion by 2020 (“Smoking”). People believe that banning smoking will make smokers violent and may damage the economy. Nevertheless, smoking should be cast out for several reasons, it damages the health of a person and their family member’s, victimize teenagers, humanity suffers, and endangers the life of non-smokers from second-hand smoke. It will take off the life of innocent people by kicking in their deaths to cancer, it will influence more youngsters to smoke, and smoking will ruin millions of lives. However, if smoking will be banned, then it will cause a smoker to smoke less. Because if a smoker is not permitted to smoke in public then a smoker will have to wait until he or she reach home to fire up their cigarettes, which will finally encourage them to quit because of the inconvenience. Hence, the smokers will not have to suffer from a painful death, and teenager will have a mindset implemented by the government that smoking is bad.
