More than 16 million Americans are living with a disease caused by smoking. Smoking can cause COPD, Asthma and Lung Cancer. 15 billion packs of cigarettes are sold daily and cigarettes are not cheap. Although smoking is a stress reliever, it can also give you cancer because the nicotine is dangerous.
Kids are getting addicted to smoking at a young age. 3,800 kids 18 or younger smoke their first cigarettes. Youth gets are smoking more and getting addicted because of the flavoring the have. No a days kids are not just smoking cigarettes they are smoking weed and marijuana. Why people get addicted to smoking is because of the nicotine there is tobacco leaf in the nicotine that makes it addicting.

If you apply for a job and have rotten teeth or bad breath you may not get the job. It does not matter what age you are, your teeth will still rot. The top layer of your teeth is your enamel, it is not good if your enamels breaks down. Smoking can cause a lot of health issues. Cigarettes are expensive. A pack of cigarettes cost about $5.51 or so. If you smoke more than a pack a day it can get expensive because it adds up. For 5 dollars you can buy something that you actually need like a toothbrush or deodorant. A lot of kids ask for money to go shop so why spend your money on cigarettes when you can get new clothes? It also doesn't help if you don't have a job to buy cigarettes if your parents don't give you money. Cigarettes can cause depression which can lead to a lot of things. Smoking marijuana and others can cause depression which leads to suicide. Smoking tends to make people happy but it is unhealthy. If you smoke to try to look cool or try to fit in stop it does not make you look cool. If your friends smoking and you don't and you start to smoke because you don't fit in with them, don't start to smoke to fit find new friends that you fit in with wear you don't have to change how you run your
