Attention Getter: Tradition plays a big role in the human experience. Regardless of whether the tradition is beneficial or detrimental, often times people continue to carry them out in order feel that the period of time they live in is connected to all other periods of time, that they can become part of something larger than themselves. Thesis: Experimental studies have shown that smoking hookah increases your risks for various diseases and is in general damaging to the body’s long term health. (Rheyanne, 2015).

Therefore, it has longer durations than cigarette smoking and larger amounts of smoking. The longer the smoking session, the more nicotine and carcinogens inhaled and settled in the lungs.
