Smoking is a bad thing to do because when you smoke cigarettes you can get cancer. It also can cause you to have stinky breath, can rotten your teeth, turns them black, and have holes inside your teeth. Smoking in parks is a bad thing to do because there are kids out running around. Some people will smoke at the park and throw their cigarettes on the ground and when kids see that they either they pick it up or put it in their mouths. Also, smoking in schools is a bad thing because when smoking on school campus can result in you getting kicked out or sent to jail. When you smoke at school can take your mind off your class work and cause you to have many of negative behaviors. There have been a lot of discussion involving smoking bans in the United States and each branch of government is doing their part to regulate the smoking bans laws for the good and better of our country and the people in it: President and the Executive Branch is doing what it can to make people aware of their habit and has signed a smoking ban that would hopefully get people to admit to their habit and help them break the habit, the supreme courts and the judicial branch have declined their option to look into their cases dealing with smoking bans and have decided that people should not be allowed to smoke freely in public in open parks, and Congress and the Legislative branch have put away any smoking in public schools with their smoking bans if the school was being funded by the government. …show more content…
