Smiley Incident Report

Decent Essays
I was dispatched to 325 Alphonsa Bird Dr in reference to trespassing. On scene, I made contact with the suspect Sherri Smiley. I was advised by dispatch that the Smiley subject trespassed from that location and that she had a warrant. I then placed her under arrest. Smiley had a yellow plastic bag with her belongings in it at the time of contact. She had dropped the bag on the front porch. As I searched the bag I found a small glass pipe that had residue and copper wire in it. The glass pipe she had is commonly used to smoke narcotics. I seized the pipe and transported Smiley to Troy City Jail without incident. She was booked and processed. The evidence was logged into the narcotics locker and Det Ernsberger was notified.
