more about their relationships on Facebook than they do face-to-face with the person they’re actually in a relationship with!” (Alingod) Technology has killed face to face interaction! People would rather text a person to tell them something rather than say it to their face. Which does not help when it comes time to do an interview for a job or you have to deal with someone that is a higher power than you. With smart phones people can hide behind there key board and say anything that they want to because they believe that there is no consequences on what they do on their phones. In reality everything they do on their smart phones are being recorded all of the texts and pictures that people send to other people can be traced. Teens now days …show more content…
Cyber bullying is just as bad as regular bullying but it can be worse because teens think that they can say whatever they want to because they are behind a key board and it is easier to make fun of someone over text or to post something on social media than to say something to their face. Cyber bullying is way worse than regular bullying because the bully can say whatever they want to which raises their self-esteem and lowers the persons that they are bullying. This is another good example when kids do not know how to talk to their parents about stuff because they never go and talk to their parents about normal stuff so they are not going to talk to their parents about them being bullied. With them not going to their parents about being bullied over the internet or through text the parents never know what is going on in their kid’s life. Which can lead to a lot of problems like depression and even suicidal thoughts if the bullying gets too bad. With how much people are glued to their phones cyber bullying has become more and more popular. Since the teens and children do not talk to their parents about their problems the teens do not know how to ask for help they just rely on

Technology is an amazing thing. People are able to check email, video chat, broadcast live video, or order a pizza all from the their phone. The ability to make a phone call from a smartwatch was only something James Bond was able to do, but now anyone can purchase a smartwatch and be just like James Bond. The ability to ask for directions, a phone number, or even the weather forecast, is just the press of a button away. With the amount of tasks that be performed right from a person’s mobile phone, people are more connected today than ever before. However, all this technology has the ability to make people more socially awkward because people no longer have to communicate in person if they choose not to. People are losing the ability to function face-to-face, and sacrificing personal human relationships for ones on Facebook and other social network sites.…

There are now webcams, cell phones, Facebook, and many other forms of communication. I have already experienced this in my daily life. You hardly see people talking anymore, just look around when you go to a restaurant or walk around the mall. People are nose deep into their phones and intrigued at all the many forms of social media, or what is happening on the news. We forgot the importance of human interaction, and rely on technology more than anything else. My children will never know a world without phones, computers, or tablets; instead they will only know how to communicate with these things. We as humans need face-to-face interaction with other human beings. Sooner or later people wont know how to start a conversation in person because they were used to talking to each other behind a computer screen or texting on their…

Cyberbullying impacts the victim because the behavior of the adolescent begins to change into a low self esteem individual. Today bullies use cell phones or computers to cyber bully; the technology is so updated and high tech, you can literally do anything you can think of. When it comes to teenagers, bullying is basically a hobby for them; they feel no guilt for the things they do, even though they know what they are doing is hurting others. It is crazy to think that something as simple as clicking a button can severely affect a young adult’s future so easily (“Cyber Bullying Statistics”). If you want to be a bully and embarrass or torture someone as easily and as fast as you can, the internet is the place to do it (Parry). Twitter and Facebook are truly a nightmare to get on when you’re a victim of cyberbullying. Bullies tend to post photos and videos anonymously for the world to see (“What is Cyber Bullying”).
