A concept I would propose is a smart gun, one that almost thinks for it self as far as who is the shooter or persons pulling the trigger. It would be a small finger print reader chip on the side of the firearm where your thumb finger would be when holding the gun. This chip would have to be programed to the owner of the gun so that only that person who was programed to use it can fire it and no one else. Anyone trying to pull the trigger without there fingerprint programed into the gun would trigger a safety magnesium locking the gun. Not only will this chip lock out the user so only the rightful owner can use it, but will also read the fingerprint of whoever holds the gun for past records mental and criminal disabling the gun and not allowing
