Two Small School, Big Differences
College is an exciting experience for every student, whether it be choosing classes, joining clubs, or even visiting different school in order to choose the right school. When choosing the right school, it is noticeable that schools are lumped into two basic categories at first, a large school, or a small school. Delaware Valley University, and Harcum College are both two small schools; however, there are multiple differences between these two schools. In this paper, it will examine the differences and the similarities of these to higher education schools. Delaware Valley University is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It offers over 25 four year undergraduate majors on a nice spacious campus. Delaware Valley University offers many clubs, and sport programs for students to join. These include a Football program, Baseball, Basketball, Track and Field, Golf, Equestrian, Cheerleading, and much more. It sits on a beautiful land connected to a functioning farm. Although the class sizes are small, there are many different dorm room buildings, and different academic buildings to hold class. With all these many buildings and dorm rooms, Delaware Valley University offers many parking lot around campus.

To begin, Harcum offers over 20 2-year majors, on a next small campus. Most of the classes are held in the same building, which is also home to the school store, tutoring center, officer of continuing studies, and the library. Harcum has a few other buildings for specialty majors, such as dental hygiene, and Veterinary Technology. Harcum does offer a few clubs, and a few sports, such as Soccer, Basketball, and Track and Field. Harcum also offers only one building of dorms, and only one major parking
