Small Group Observation

While observing him during our small group time, when he is asked questions that interest him he responds back with interesting questions of his own. On observation I made was while he was at the science table. We were mixing milk, food coloring and soap and he questioned why where using milk. I asked him, “should we try water and see if it works?” He said no, but I could see how intrigued he was by this experiment. We have had many different items out for dramatic play, with the blocks and at the science table, but he always seems to be gravitated towards the block area or dramatic play area.
