Sloth In South America

Probably when we hear the word sloth, we think about the bear that lives in the jungles of South America. We can also think in a man lying in the sofa all weekend. I must say that sloth concerns confusing meanings.
While sloth is occasionally defined as physical laziness, spiritual laziness is emphasized. In other words, we can explain sloth as disinclination to activity or exertion despite having the ability to do so.
Then… Are differences between laziness and sloth? The answer is yes.
Laziness was an essential part of humans and animals. It was an instinct that helped to ensure the survival by preventing excessive exertion. For instance, after running in front of a lion, our ancestors had to keep calm hidden.
