Slept debt is the sleep lost building up overtime. In the case of Tina, she sleeps for three to four hours when she should be getting at least seven and a half hours of sleep. Due to this, it is causing sleep debt and will cause her to have mental and physical problems. REM rebound is when someone returns to the REM sleep more quickly and stays there often due to sleep deprivation. In the case of Tina, she is more likely to fall quickly in the REM sleep because she is sleep deprived.
The five functions of sleep include recuperation, protects, memory, creative thinking, and growth process. Recuperation helps a person restore and repair their brain tissues. In the case of Tina, she is having unused neurons that are not strengthening. The information
